BEND, Ore. — Carter Jones of Jelly Belly p/b Kenda took second place this week in the Under-23 National Time Trials.
Jones, 21, was 10 seconds behind the winner, Andrew Talansky of Cal Giant Berry Farms on the gradually climbing out-and-back course.
“Carter is a good young talent for us and the U.S. national team,” said Jelly Belly team director Danny Van Haute. “He has come along way since last year. He was part of our devolment team last year.”
“He has a good future in cycling.”
