The month of May has spread the Jelly Belly Team all over the map, with cyclists racing in criteriums on the east and west coasts, and even taking time to raise money for children with cancer.
On the East Coast, Bryce Mead, Matt Crane, Nick Reistad, Jonny Clarke and Phil Gaimon all participated in the Sunny King and Sandy Springs Criteriums, with Reistad pulling off a 5th place finish at Sandy Springs.
The Jelly Belly Candy Co. was one of the title sponsors of the Tour de Cure, and three riders were lucky enough to be able to participate last weekend. Brad Huff, Bernard van Ulden, Matty Rice and Team Director Danny van Haute all traveled to Napa to ride. Matty and Bernard did the 100 mile ride. Brad Huff did the 50 mile ride and Van Haute, along with Jelly Belly Marketing Director Stephanie Scott rode 25 miles.
To top it all off, the entire team was able to give back even more at the Jelly Belly Celebrity Golf Tournament. All the money raised at this event went to Special Olympics, Mission Solana, Okizu camp for kids with cancer. The tournament took place in Fairfield, Calif., at the Jelly Belly Candy Co. headquarters.Even with an incredibly demanding schedule, the Jelly Belly Team takes time to help children in need.
